Our Mission
Founded in December 2025 after lived experience, The Wait With You Foundation provides comfort, dignity, and emotional support to families facing prolonged hospital stays during high-risk pregnancies in antepartum. Through thoughtfully assembled comfort kits and compassionate resources, we remind families they are not alone.
Because families deserve support while they wait.

Comfort Kits
Practical essentials and comforting items for every person admitted to 3-1200, including blankets, socks, toiletries, and coffee gift cards, for patients experiencing extended high-risk pregnancy hospital stays.
Activity & Wellness Carts
Games, crafts, journals, sound machines, chargers, and other items to bring comfort and help pass the time during long hospital days.
Wellness Wednesdays
Yoga, creative workshops, group discussions, and opportunities for connection for patients on Strong Memorial Hospital’s antepartum unit.
Clothing & Essential Donations
Community drives providing clothing for babies and children in NICU, PICU, and pediatric care in and out patient settings.
Resources & Connection
Helping families navigating high-risk pregnancy hospital stays and NICU journeys find helpful resources, community support, and reassurance that they aren’t alone.
Community Events & Fundraisers
Events that bring our community together, raise awareness, and fund meaningful support for the families we serve.
While our primary focus is supporting families on Strong Memorial Hospital’s antepartum unit, 3-1200, we’ve also been able to provide extra comfort supplies to additional units, including Adult Oncology, Thoracic and Surgical Specialty Unit, and Cardiovascular Patient Care Unit. As donations allow, we’re grateful to extend small moments of comfort to more patients and families throughout the hospital.
Our Vision for the Future
As our foundation grows, we hope to partner with sponsors to expand to more hospitals and provide additional supports beyond comfort kits, such as maternity photo sessions, yoga, meditation, and other mental health resources that help families feel grounded, supported, and less alone during long hospital stays.
We currently support families during extended antepartum stays and NICU journeys at
Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.
